Recommended by one of the local restaurants. Cant really compare to other services in town since we never used them, but they certainly jumped through hoops to a accommodate us at the last minute. Trout fishing was amazingly good and non stop action...more importantly, my wife caught a 26 inch Rainbow which was the largest trout I have ever seen and wild at that. The guide was excellent and very patient. Although we have never fly fished before the guide was able to teach us in a matter of hours. The boat and the gear was clean and well maintained. At the end the owner, Mr Lowe, also came to see how everything was and he was so kind and you could tell our experience really mattered to him. Its wonderful to see such a nice owner who cares so much. I'm excited to go back next year! Booked through our travel agent as one of the best in the area. Not disappointed. Family and I caught quite a bit of salmon during our 2 trips with this outfit in July and what a spectacle to be a part of as we harvested this bounty of the sea. Well, after 10 years of fishing with this outfit, who ever is running this place has to be some retired Army Buddy of mine and he is. Lucky me ha. Seriously. I have fished with many outfits in Alaska over the years and these guys really put forth the time and resources to ensure you are on the best possible location and with the right guide etc. Love the equipment , love the boats, love the transportation love the atmosphere. Thanks to the guides, Scott, Matt, Aaron and Jeremy for another super outing. Next year the target is a 35" Bow lol. This store has everything and I am amazed at the time and effort that must go into it each year. We appreciate the election in both the fly fishing categories and conventional fishing.
